Purchasing Support Clerk

Position Overview

The chosen candidate will be responsible to assist the Purchasing Manager to ensure that the company has constant supply of materials and products. You will also be expected to occasionally assist in the reception area to greet clients and answer telephone calls.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Process purchases and prepare the requestions
  • Verify order confirmations 
  • Follow up on missing confirmations 
  • Update system with order status 
  • Inputting of local suppliers’ invoices 
  • Filing and organization of documents 
Requirements
  • Administration background in similar post  
  • Competent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 
  • Fluent in English and possibly Maltese and basic Italian. 
  • Able to work within a team 
  • Familiarity with sourcing 
  • Good eye for detail 
  • Excellent telephone skills  
  • Good organizational skills and efficiency 
  • Education level A level or above
