Description
The act of transforming a simple shape into comfortable seating by removing some of its aesthetic parts makes Bend a recognisable yet unobtrusive object. Its soft shapes connect the bold, square volumes of its vertical surfaces. But Bend also displays sartorial details: the corners are made of vertical fabric or leather strips sewn on with double hems.

Supporting structure in plywood panels and solid fr wood supports of
differing thicknesses, buffers in hard or cellulose wood fibreboard panels.
Structure fully covered in expanded polyurethane sheets and Tecnoform. The back is made of hard or cellulose wood fibre panels. The seat is supported by propylene and latex elastic belts. Back cushions in real goose down with expanded polyurethane insert, 21
kg/m3 density.
Seat cushions in non-deformable polyurethane foam, density 30 kg/cbm,
Tecnoform covered.
Fabric upholstery fully removable; in leather or artifcial leather, the cushion
covers are removable but the frame upholstery is not removable.
For the two-colour fnish in fabric or artifcial leather, please take the price of
the highest category of upholstery used.
In the mixed version, the fabric cushion covers are removable; the cat. Soft
leather frame upholstery is not removable.
The realization of the leather elements, unlike the ones in fabric, can
require additional stitchings: this is due to the natural origin of leather.
